If you suffer from morning sickness, you are probably hoping that there are ways to cure your vomiting and nausea. You can take a certain amount of comfort in knowing that morning sickness doesn't usually last past the first trimester but that doesn't help you feel better in the present. These are some things that you can use to help you treat the symptoms of your morning sickness.

There are a few different vitamins that can act as great morning sickness remedies. You can find a few different types of vitamin formulas in your prenatal vitamins. Vitamin B6 has been used for years to prevent and treat morning sickness symptoms. If you want to use this vitamin to treat this ailment, you need to take it a few hours before the time when you typically experience an attack. Try to limit your Vitamin B6 ingestion to 75mgs per day, taking any more than that is considered harmful and dangerous. This, as well as other prenatal vitamins can help you weaken your morning sickness symptoms. You should ask your doctor for more or better recommendations if you want to use vitamins to alleviate your morning sickness symptoms.

You can reduce the symptoms of your morning sickness by eating some foods and avoiding others. Certain specific foods like those that are fatty and deep fried should be eaten sparingly because they will make your morning sickness worse. Bland foods like crackers, toast and whole grain hot cereal can ease your symptoms. You can also eat yogurt (if it isn't overly sweetened) to ease your symptoms. Try to eat lots of small meals during the day instead of just a couple of big meals. Pay attention to what you eat and when; this will help you figure out which foods affect your morning sickness the most so that you can avoid them. While it is true that pregnant ladies need lots of rest and that resting can help keep morning sickness symptoms, it is not a good idea to lie down directly after eating because doing that can set off an attack.

Acupuncture is quite effective at treating morning sickness symptoms. While not everyone has faith in acupuncture, modern western medicine is placing more and more trust in using it as a treatment for lots of different problems. The Chinese have used acupuncture for thousands of years and while it isn't clear about its ability to cure things, it is quite helpful in reducing symptoms. If you are afraid of needles (even non painful ones like those used in acupuncture), try acupressure and reflexology--these use touching and pushing on pressure points on the body (and not needles) to get the same results. It's easy to find someone to do these treatments on you but you can also learn how to do them on yourself. You can use all of these things as morning sickness remedies.

In summary: it is common to go through some discomfort when you are pregnant, but lots of those symptoms (like morning sickness) can easily be relieved. If you use the tips in this article (along with watching your diet and getting lots of rest) you can easily treat your morning sickness.
