The first step is developing the images. Earlier the images were prepared by creating film negatives and were then transmitted to aluminum printing plates. In the present times, the printers can use the image setting system for making the plates directly. After this, the plate is stuck to a cylinder with the proper side facing upwards. Then the water and ink are spread on the image plates, one after another. The image gets the ink while the rest of the area receives a thin film of water, which ensures that the ink does not spread beyond the images.
Next, the image is inverted when it is put on to a rubber blanket which is stuck to another cylinder. The image is inverted to its right side by transferring the image to sheets which have been cut according to the need and are placed on a different cylinder.
The final steps of the printing job involve things such as stapling, pasting or organizing the printed sheets according to the instructions of the client, and any printing company should easily manage these.
